Bridges
The Portland, OR bridges have been a focus in my work since moving back to Portland my hometown in 2001. The bridges feel very figurative almost echo a skeleton structure that allows me to approach them the way I do the figure. Each painting is built up in layers from graphite and charcoal drawings to color in oil and acrylic.
